²²⁵Ac-DOTATOC is one Alpha-labeled analogue of ⁹⁰Y- and ¹⁷⁷Lu-DOTATOC (Solucin).

This Alpha-labeled analogue of a radiolabeled somatostatin was developed to be used in patients with gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET) refractory to previous treatment with ⁹⁰Y- or ¹⁷⁷Lu-DOTATOC.

A clinical trial in 39 patients was reported in 2015. Additional preclinical data were reported recently. Purpose of this study was to evaluate the Absorbed dose in vital organs and the risk linked to the contaminant ²²⁷Ac.
